Limit State Design Method is incorporated into this criteria.

thorough consideration shall be given to
safety, durability, economy, excellence of
operational performance and compatibility
with the environment.

be 100 years.
3) The design criteria indicated herein are
predicated on the assumption that all
construction operations will be performed
in appropriate manner.

In the design of cable stayed bridge, durability
and safety shall be confirmed by performing
the following series of design operations.
a) Design as a frame structure by linear analysis
b) Design as a frame structure by compound
non-linear analysis
c) Design by FEM analysis
