Warm up& revision greetings - ask Ss to prepare the books, notebook and school objects. - check the class attendance Pelmanism - prepare 8 cards. One side are the number from 1 to 8. the other side are 4 words: England, America, Singapore, Vietnam and their meaning in Vietnamese - stick the cards on the board so that Ss can see only number side. - divide the class into 2 groups. Each group choose 2 numbers in turn - Turn over the cards. If they are an English word and its meaning, that group will get 1 point. If not, turn the card over again as the origin. - do the same until all the cards are over. 9 Student’s activities - greeting - get out the books, notebooks and school objects - the monitor answers - group 1 choose 2 numbers by change - group 2 do the same - the winner is the one who gets more points 2. Writing Let’s write * Introduction: You are required to write about where are you from. - give the outline and ask Ss to write in their books in pencil. Encourage Ss to write as long as possible depend on their knowledge. - get some Ss books and give marks - ask 2 good, quicker Ss to write on the board. - ask some more Ss to read aloud their writings - ask Ss to do Ex 9 page WB - check and give correct answers 10 - translate sentence by sentence. - listen carefully. - write individually based on the outline - look at their friends writings, check their spelling and grammar - listen and check their friends mistakes. 2.3.
