WEEK 1 Date of teaching: Augt 24(2A) and Augt 26(2B), 2016 GREETING AND INTRODUCE SUBJECT I. Objectives By the end of the lesson, students will able to review greeting, introduce the subject, how to learn this subject and review English letters II. Vocabulary Review some school things and the English letters III. Teaching aids Flashcards IV. Procedure Greeting Review some words Introduce the subject: two books (one colored books and one workbook) - One colored book use to learn at classroom ( two semesters) - One workbook use to do exercises and review the knowledge Introduce each unit to student understand: - There are 10 units - Each unit has 7 lessons - Each lesson, we learn about numbers, letters or song Call some student introduce again about the subject Introduce some characters in the book: Pat, Jig , Adam, Tess, Baz Read the names after teacher three times Call some volunteers to reread Introduce how to recognize characters: - Adam: is a little boy with a yellow shirt - Baz: is a boy with a red shirt 1 - Tess: is a girl - Pat is a cat - Jig is a rabbit Practice reading some names in individually a few times Practice greeting in pairs: - Teacher – student - Student – student (open / close) - Group – group Call some volunteers to reread Review words ********************************** WEEK 1 Date of teaching: Augt 24 and Augt 26, 2016 (2A, 2B) INTRODUCE CLASSROOM’S COMMAND I.
