Ta Thi Huong ABC English 2 Week 1 UNIT 1: Ai Lesson 1 I. Aims - By the end of the lesson, sts can read and use the letter “Ai” and some words including “Ai’’ letter. - Develop sts’ speaking, listening, reading skills II. Language focus - Rain, train III. Teaching aids - Text book, lesson plan, board … IV. Procedure 1. Class organization - Greeting - Checking attendance 2. New lesson Teacher’s and students’ activities 1.Warm up ( mins) - T gets acquainted with sts - Introduce text book, work book, the ways to learn English 2. 2. Presentation ( mins) - T presents new words by using pictures - T reads the new words 3 times then has sts repeat again in chorus then individually. - Sts listen, practice reading new words. 3. Practice ( mins) * Read and match - T guides sts read the word then match the word with the thing in the picture on page 6. - Sts read then do matching.
