PREFACE
In the current opening period, Vietnam's economy is facing many development
opportunities, the logistics service industry is one of the economic development
prospects that bring positive results for the country.
With a developed economy, multimodal transport services (logistics) have
become a service industry that integrates many activities with high added value,
bringing great economic benefits, between Vietnam and the economic environment.
Favorable business, high development opportunities promise to develop the service
market in the coming time.
Developing logistics in low- and middle-income countries can boost trade
growth and benefit both businesses and consumers with cheaper prices and
guaranteed service quality. However, our country's logistics service industry
currently has many limitations, in order to thrive, it is necessary to consider many
factors and development methods.
During the field trip to Tan Cang Hai Phong International Container Terminal Lach Huyen, Cat Hai District and the talk with the business, I was very pleased to
know about the largest deep-water port in the Northern region with its infrastructure
system and system. management and operation of international standards, leading in
Vietnam.
In the report, I would like to present the knowledge I have learned, including a
general understanding of the internship unit of HICT Port and the operations and
fields of operation at the international standard Container Terminal.
In the report, errors cannot be avoided. Please evaluate and correct them so
that I can gain experience in the process of studying and researching. I would like to
thank you!

With the benefit of a deep-water port and a northern transportation hub, sea freight
transport in Hai Phong developed quickly, with a rapid increase in recent years.
When the volume of goods passing through northern ports increases, the average
increase is nearly 20%, with a 60 percent increase over the last ten years.
Because of the sudden increase, Hai Phong's seaport infrastructure system has
become overburdened and can no longer handle large vessels. As a result, the Tan
Cang-Hai Phong International Container Terminal is the most cost-effective
solution.
The completion of the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway together with the Hanoi - Lao
Cai, Hanoi - Thai Nguyen, Hanoi - Lang Son and Bach Dang highways is 5.44 km
long on the Hai Phong - Ha Long expressway. Long, forming a modern and
continuous traffic network of the North, shortening the travel time between the
