II. WARM UP (5 mins) Guessing game:
- T. writes a sentence with a gap: Ii is ...
- T.asks sts to complete it with a time on a piece of paper and keep it secrete.
- T. calls one st to the front of the class and the other sts must ask questions
to guess the time. The student who guesses correctly is the next one up.
E.g: Is it half past eight?
Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.

close pairs).
Activity3: Comprehension questions :
- Ask students to read the questions aloud (one by
one).
- Ask Ss to work in pairs to find out the answers of
these questions.
- Give feedback.
- Ask students to work in open pairs and then close
pairs to practice asking and answering the questions.

- Elicit from the students to give the model sentences.
- Ask Ss to read the model sentences.
=> Concept checking:Meaning, form, use,
