The objectives - Content: Reported questions with if/ whether - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know more about the wonders of the world and the world heritage sites. They’ll use the language to ask and answer about these places and report them to others Student will listen to a text about one of the world heritage sites: The Great Barrier Reef to understand the details and find out the mistakes and correct them. B. Materials: disk/ tape, cassette/ CD player, pictures, posters, OHP, transparencies Work arrangements: Individuals, pairs, groups, T-WC Anticipated problems: ss’ poor listening C. Procedure I. Warmer Guessing game Hand out the pictures Ask ss to think about these places and write sentences to describe these places. Other ss have to guess which place it is. II. Checking the old lesson Ha Long Bay: It’s one of the World Heritage sites. It’s in East northern of Viet Nam. It has many beautiful limestone islands It has beautiful sand beach and magnificient caves. III. New lesson  Pre-speaking Eliciting the pictures What is it? Do you know where it is? What is it famous for? Matching Run through the sentences. Ask ss to read the sentences describing these places aloud Work in pairs or small groups of three to match the sentences with the correct place I. Is the Great Wall of China the longest structure in the world? Ask ss to report the result of the survey I asked Hoa if the Great Wall of China the longest structure in the world.
