Checking the old lesson III. New lesson  Pre writing Revise vocabulary Ask ss to put these words into 5 column according to their topics. (OHP, transparencies). Ss work in groups of four T gets feedback: Why did you put these words together in a column? Modelling, choral repetition Individual repetition VN meaning Pronunciation Gap-fill - Ask Ss to look at the postcard Is it completed or incompleted? What do you have to do? Work individually to complete the postcard Mrs Quyen sent from the USA. Pair and compare T gets feedback Ask some students to read the completed postcard aloud. Ask some comprehension questions What is the weather like? How does she feel about the people? What did she do? Who did she visit? What did she buy for the children? I.
