GIÁO ÁN DẠY TIẾNG ANH LỚP 6 WEEK 1: THE VERB “TOBE” I. Aims -Giúp HS hiểu được động từ TOBE ở thì hiện tại thường. -Cuối bài, học sinh có thể áp dụng lý thuyết để làm bài tập. II.Teaching aids: white board. III.Content: PERIOD 1: Content I. GRAMMAR:(15’) T&SS’activities -T set the scene and give the model *Model sentences: sentences/Sts listen. I am a student. -Read in chorus/ He is Nam. Individually. We are fine. -T explains about TOBE/Sts listen and *Form: copy. a. Câu khẳng định.= The positive form +form I + am =I’m + tên riêng / tính từ /danh từ. +mean He / She / It + is =’s (nếu số it thì có mạo từ +notes “a / an or the”) You / We / They + are =’re b. Câu nghi vấn ( Đưa tobe lên trước chủ ngữ) Are + you / they / (we) .....? Yes, I am/we/they are . No,I/we/they+ be + not Is + he / she / it ..................? Yes, he / she/it is. No,he / she / it is not. - Wh-questions: How (old) + be + S?, What + be + your/his… name(s)? c. Câu phủ định. ( thêm ‘not’ sau động từ tobe) I + am not + tên riêng / tính từ / danh từ (nếu số it He / She / It + is not thì có mạo từ “a /an or the”) You / We / They + are not Notes: -Dạng viết tắt: I am = I’m He is=he’s Is not =isn’t You are=you’are Are not=aren’t - Động từ “be” có nghĩa là “thì,là ,ở” chỉ tình trạng của chủ ngữ, động từ được chia theo các ngôi. Sau tobe là N/ADJ/NAME. - Dùng trong các tình huống sau: giới thiệu bản thân, hỏi tên người nào đó, hỏi thăm sức khỏe, hỏi về tuổi tác. Cách thành lập danh từ số nhiều(20’) - Thông thường danh từ số nhiều có thêm S ở T&Sts’activities -T explains the rules and write on the board/Sts listen and copy. cuối a book ( một quyển sách) books ( những quyển sách) a table ( một cái bàn ) tables ( những cái bàn ) - Những danh từ tận cùng là : x, s, o, ch, sh, z : ta thêm “es” a bus buses ( những chiếc xe buýt) a couch couches ( những cái ghế sa lông dài). - Những danh từ tận cùng bằng Y có 2 trường hợp xãy ra: - Y đứng sau các phụ âm thì đổi Y thành i rồi thêm es. a city cities ( những thành phố ) a family families ( những gia đình ) - Y đứng sau các chữ cái nguyên âm (u, e, o, a, i ) thì thêm s ở phía sau. a key keys ( những chiếc chìa khóa ) a boy boys ( những cậu bé ) - Danh từ tận cùng bằng f hoặc fe, ta đổi f hoặc fe thành v sau đó thêm es vào . a knife knives ( những con dao) ; a leaf leaves ( những chiếc lá) - Danh từ tận cùng là nguyên âm o và đứng trước nó là một phụ âm ta thêm es vào. a potato potatoes ( những củ khoai tây ) a tomato tomatoes ( những quả cà chua ) - Danh từ tận cùng bằng một nguyên âm o và đứng trước nó là một nguyên âm ta chỉ thêm s: a kangaroo kangaroos ( những con chuộc túi ) a radio radios ( những chiếc máy rađiô) - Một số danh từ khi thành lập số nhiều có dạng đổi đặc biệt: a woman women (những người đàn bà ) a man men ( những người đàn ông ) a child children ( những đứa trẻ con ) a mouse a tooth mice ( những con chuột ) teeth ( những cái răng ) a foot feet ( những bàn chân ) a groose greese ( những con ngổng ) a person an ox II. people ( người ) oxen ( những con bò ) Cách phát âm: Cách phát âm các danh từ tận cùng bằng s, es.  Chữ s được phát âm là /s/ khi danh từ cso các âm tận cùng là: k, f, p, t, th. /s/: Books , streets .  Chữ s được phát âm là /iz/ khi các danh từ có tận cùng là chữ cái: s, x, sh, ch, ce, ge, z. / iz/: Couches , kisses, taxes, classes sentences watches.  Chữ s được phát âm /z/; loại trừ 2 trường hợp nói trên thì còn lại: /z/: plays, teachers, rulers, Chú ý: khi es được thêm vào các danh từ có tận cùng là phụ âm + y ta phát âm es là /z/ /z/: City cities ; family story stories ; families II.EXERCISE: EX 1:.
