Note Com pletion Note completion is one of the most frequently given tasks in the IELTS Listening test. This task is given in the form of a set of notes and candidates have to fill in the gaps of factual details such as names, addresses, numbers, time, prices, etc. Usually, grammar words such as articles, auxiliary verbs, etc. may be omitted when they are not semantically necessary. 2. Summary Completion Your task is to complete a summary. Generally, you have to fill in the gaps in a short paragraph which summarises the main ideas of one part of the talk or the entire talk and this summary is a paraphrased text.
