Nó đứng trước động từ thường hoặc động từ tobe. -Tính từ sở hữu đứng trước 1 danh từ. Một mình nó không thể làm chủ ngữ được. Buổi 3 DANH TỪ SỐ ÍT VÀ SỐ NHIỀU A-Mục đích – yêu cầu: -Giúp HS biết khi nào sử dụng danh từ số ít, khi nào sử dụng danh từ số nhiều. -Cuối bài, HS có thể áp dụng lí thuyết để làm các bài tập tốt. B-Nội dung bài dạy: I- Grammar: 1-danh từ số ít : là danh từ không có chữ s đứng cuối từ, những danh từ có a, an đứng trước. 2- danh từ số nhiều: có các quy tắc:  Thông thường ta thêm S vào sau danh từ số ít. A pen -> pens  Danh từ tận cùng bằng Y, trước Y là phụ âm đổi Y --> i sau đó thêm –es. Trước Y là nguyên âm chỉ thêm S. a city --> cities, a key--> keys.  Danh từ tận cùng bằng F, Fe thì đổi F hoặc Fe thành ves. a bookshelf->bookshelves.  Danh từ tận cùng bằng O, trước O là phụ âm thêm –es. Trước O là nguyên âm chỉ thêm S.
