Objectives : By the end of the lesson , students can :  Practice “ where is...?/where are ...?” question.  Be able to use the prepositions of place to practice and know how to describe the view on the street. 2. Language contents:  Vocabulary : + preposition : between , opposite. + stores : photocoppy store , bakery , theater , drugstore, police station, toystore.  Structure : to revise Where-question with place of stores. 3. Techniques: Brainstorming , questions & answers , pair work , group work. 4. Teaching aids: text book , lesson plan , OHP. 5. Procedure : Teacher and student’s activities 1. Warm-up :  Having question for student to check their previous lesson.  Asking students answer individual  Calling on some Ss to speak out. 2. Presentation:  Teaching vocabulary : Content What are there around your house ?  Vocabulary : -Drugstore (n): hiệu thuốếc tây -Bakery (n):cửa hàng bánh mì - Eliciting the vocabulary ( using pictures ) & read it in modal. -Photocopy store(n):cửa hàng phố-tố - Having students repeat in the whole class and individually. -Movie theater (n):rạp chiếếu phim -Toy store(n):cửa hàng đốồ chơi  Checking student’s remember : Matching. -Police station(n):đốồn cảnh sát  Having students listen to the Audio-CD : -Opposite(pre):đốếi diện -Between (pre):ở giữa - Asking Ss answer true or false questions. - Ss working individual. 3. Practice:  Having students to work in pair: - Ask & answer the questions with sentense: Where is...?  It’s.....  Having students to play game “ lucky number ”( work in group): -  Calling on some pair to speak out. Dividing class into 2 groups. Introducing the game “ Lucky number” . Showing the table with 10 numbers. Calling on Ss to stand up and choose the numbers. If Ss choose unlucky number, Ss have to answer the question hidden that number ( using the structure and new words above). Having students to play a  Matching :  True or false questions : 1. The photocopy store is next to the drugstoreF: the bakery. 2. The movie theater is between the bakery and the drugstoreT 3. The police station is opposite the restaurantF: next to. 4. The restaurant is opposite the drugstoreT 5. The students are in the bookstoreT  Structure : Ex: Where is the drugstore?  It is opposite the restaurant . Form: Where is…..?  It is…..  Play game “ Lucky number “. 1. Where is the photocopy store?  It’s next to the bakery. 2. Where is the movie theater?  It’s between the bakery and the drugstore. 3. Where is the restaurant?  It’s opposite the drug store. 4. Where is the police station?  It’s between the toystore and the restaurant. 5. Where is the toystore?  It’s between the bookstore and the police station.  Play a guessing game (c4b/p71).  guessing game(C4b/p71). - Teacher read 1 sentence in modal. - Asking Ss work in pair. - Calling on some pairs to speak out If Teacher enough times , asking Ss do exercise C5/p71. 4: Production:  Getting students to give respond to each teacher’s utterances.  Home work : - Learn new words & form by heart. - Make 5 sentences to describe your street with the preposition we have learnt. Ex: S1: It is opposite the bakery. What is it? S2: It is the toystore. S1: Yes, that is right. 1. 2. 3. 4. It’s next to the bakery. What’s it? It’s opposite the bookstore. What is it?
