Hedyotis
Chi Hedyotis có khoảng 150 loài, chủ yếu mọc ở những vùng có khí hậu nhiệt
đới và ấm áp. Chúng thường có thân thảo, hơi vuông, cao từ 30-85 cm. Lá nhỏ, phiến
lá hẹp, có gân giữa, gân phụ không nổi rõ. Hoa màu trắng hay vàng, mọc thành từng
cụm ở nách lá hay đỉnh nhánh. Các loài thuộc chi Hedyotis thường mọc ở sân vườn,
bình nguyên Việt Nam, chủ yếu là Hedyotis diffusa Willd, Hedyotis corymbosa (L.)
Lam, Hedyotis nigricans L...[1]

Hedyotis, họ Cà phê (Rubiaceae). Cỏ đa niên b , có ít r ở mắt; thân có 4 c nh tr n, có
lông theo 2 hàng. Lá có phiến oan, nhọn hay tà hai đ u, gân phụ 3 c p l i m t dưới,
cu n ngắn, là bẹ nhọn. Chụm dày ở nách, hoa ch 4, vành tai nhọn, ng có lông ở cổ.
