Adverb of frequency * Các trạng từ chỉ tần suất dung để mô tả mức độ dày, đều đặn hay thưa thớt của các hành động. Các trạng từ này dung để trả lời cho câu hỏi “ How often……….?”. * Với mức độ đều đặn lớn nhất ta dung “always”: luôn luôn, rồi tần suất thưa dần theo thứ tự “ usually”: thường thường, “often”: thường hay, “sometimes”: đôi khi, thỉnh thoảng, cho đến mức không hề xảy ra với “never”: không bao giờ. Always (100%): luôn luôn Usually (99% - 90%): thường thường Often (90% - 75%): thường hay Sometimes (75% - 25%): đôi khi, thỉnh thoảng Seldom (25% - 10%): hiếm khi Rarely (10% - 1%): hiếm Never (0%): không bao giờ * Ngoài các trạng từ chỉ tần suất trên, ta còn có các cụm trạng ngữ chỉ tần suất như “ every day/ week/ month………” Once a week/ twice a week/ a month/ a year…………  Lưu ý: + các trạng từ chỉ tần suất đứng sau động từ “tobe”và trước động từ thường Ví dụ: I am never late for school. + “ usually” và “sometimes” có thể đứng đầu câu hoặc cuối câu.
